School Grades from the MDoE

MSAD 52 schools recently received letter grades from the Maine Department of Education as part of the Maine School Performance Grading System.  This is the second year that report cards have been issued for Maine’s public schools.

These grades reflect several factors, including math and reading proficiency, proficiency growth factors that compare test results from multiple years, growth in the 25 percent lowest performing students (for elementary schools), and graduation rates (for our high school).  The primary school is not graded as it only has one year of NECAP testing information.

Please see the attached letter from Superintendent Aliberti for more information on the school grades and the education of students at MSAD 52.
