Good Morning,
Just as an update to the post from yesterday.  The following information will be shared with students at the start of their period 2 class.
"The plan for last Wednesday which involved students leaving class and gathering outside was intended to recognize the one month anniversary of the tragedy at Stoneman Douglas High School and coincide with the events planned at other schools across the country.  This event was not intended to be rescheduled.  For students who wish to further demonstrate their support for their peers in Parkland, Florida and other victims of school violence, we're willing to assist in organizing an event that takes place either before or after school.  There has been some conversation about students leaving class this morning at 10:00am.  This is not the rescheduled event from last week, and students who choose to participate and leave class will be assigned detention."
