It's the time of year where we see increased cases of gastrointestinal viruses that cause fever, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.  Our goal is to keep the school community healthy and safe.  The following are CDC tips and guidelines to adhere to if your child becomes ill:

*Wash your hands with warm soap and water, especially after bathroom use

*Avoid preparing food for at least 2 days after symptoms clear

*Clean and disinfect surfaces with bleach-based household cleaner

*Wash contaminated laundry thoroughly with hot water and detergent

*Students may return to school 24 hours after the last episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, without fever.  Students will be sent home if they return prior to this window of time.
